I came home from school today
No-one’s here,
No-one to greet me home
I wanted to show you my picture
Mum I’m only six
I came home from B-Ball practice today
No-one’s here
No-one to greet me home
I needed help, I sprained my ankle
Mum I’m only eleven
I came home from high school today
No-one’s home,
No-one to greet me
I needed help with my exam
Mum I’m only fourteen
I came home from drug dealing today
No-one’s home,
No-one to greet me
I know I’m doing wrong
But no-one’s there to stop me
I need to eat, look after the house
And pay your bills
Mum, I’m only seventeen
I came home today
No-one’s home, no-one to greet me
I’m going crazy, I’m out of here
See you at the crossroads
All I wanted was a mum and dad
and a home
But as I see, that will never be.
